After two years of hard work, dedication, and a lot of patience, MAD House Porto is finally complete—and I couldn’t be happier! This renovation has been a true labor of love, and seeing my vision come to life has been nothing short of a dream come true.
When I first laid eyes on the house, I knew it had so much potential. Originally an architecture studio by the renowned Adalberto Dias, the space had its own unique charm, but I envisioned something even bigger: a creative hub where ideas and artistry could flourish. The journey from that first moment to now has been long and full of challenges, but every bit of effort has been worth it.
I teamed up with the incredibly talented Fala Atelier, who understood my vision and brought it to life in ways I couldn’t have imagined. Their attention to detail and modern yet playful approach to design perfectly balanced the sophistication and joy I wanted MAD House Porto to embody. Every corner of the house has something to discover—whether it's the clean lines, the vibrant colors, or the little surprises tucked into the design.
Landscaper Pomo worked their magic on the garden, transforming the outdoor space into a lush, inviting area perfect for hosting workshops and events. The garden has become a peaceful oasis, complementing the interior and offering a tranquil retreat. It’s now the perfect spot to gather, create, and connect with the community.
And, of course, none of this would have been possible without the dedication and craftsmanship of the contractors. They worked tirelessly to ensure every detail was just right, overcoming obstacles and challenges along the way to make sure the house turned out exactly as I envisioned it.
Now, as I walk through the completed space, it’s surreal to think about how far it’s come. The house feels like a true reflection of my journey, filled with both heart and soul. From the extended patio designed for workshops to the carefully crafted interior, every inch of MAD House Porto tells a story of creativity, persistence, and passion.
So, what’s next? Furnishing and designing the interior! While the bones of the house are finished, I’m so excited to fill the space with pieces that inspire and bring even more warmth and personality. I can’t wait to share updates as the interior takes shape and MAD House Porto evolves into a space where creativity and community can thrive.
