Japanese Large Straight Chisel - 42mm

A 42mm Japanese straight chisel for removing large amounts of wood from the back of bigger projects. It's very sharp and thin, which makes it great for harder woods and easy to sharpen.

The blade is flat with a slight curve on one plane, so it's useful when you need to take out a lot of material, like when smoothing bowls or larger spoons. The wide end of the handle helps protect your hands when using a mallet.
