• Alder (Easy): Light red when unfinished. Deep red when oiled. Similar to cherry but lighter in weight.
• Cherry (Medium): Pinkish-brown when unfinished. Finishes as a deep red.
• Walnut (Hard): Light brown when unfinished. Finishes as a chocolate brown.
